Impulse for security
D‑PULSE is the innovative proprietary technology from EL.MO. that allows the enormous potential of Artificial Intelligence to be extended to intrusion detection systems.
With D‑Pulse‑based systems, the risk of false alarms is virtually eliminated. Artificial Intelligence algorithms can analyse the scene extremely accurately and recognise and distinguish elements within it. Previously set automation scenarios are activated based on what is happening and what is being analysed.
Thanks to their power and versatility, D-Pulse systems are ideally suited to a variety of areas. They range from the home environment, where they are useful for protecting, for example, gardens or open spaces, where interference from animals or tree branches can “trick” traditional systems. Or they can be employed in the business, retail chain and industrial sectors, where special functions such as licence plate recognition or “man down” are in high demand.
D‑Pulse is ideal for detecting movement in the garden of homes caused by a passing animal or an intruder, perhaps walking on all fours to avoid standard burglar alarm systems.
D‑Pulse is ideal for outdoor spaces, as it is unaffected by disturbances such as moving leaves, glare or harsh weather conditions.
D‑Pulse is ideal for complex areas such as industries or logistics centres, where many different hazardous situations are caused by people and vehicles.
D‑Pulse is ideal for retail chains due to the high number of people passing through at very different times of day. The support of artificial intelligence is essential to manage the high level of complexity of the system.

The core of the entire system is based on control units from the Proxima range. They receive “alarm impulses” from various Artificial Intelligence devices located onsite (D‑Pulse cameras or AI‑UNIT analysis units) and transmit the alarm according to the set logic.
A complete range of cameras packed with Artificial Intelligence from the D‑PULSE e‑Vision brand.
Analysis unit with artificial intelligence applied to IP video streams. It allows the management and integration into D-Pulse systems of any Onvif Profile S IP camera with an RTSP protocol and any DVR and NVR with an RTSP protocol.
AI‑Unit is a video server with high‑performance video analysis, without requiring camera calibration based on deep‑learning technology. It allows e‑Vision or third‑party cameras, DVRs and NVRs, which do not natively have Artificial Intelligence algorithms, to be integrated into D‑Pulse systems.
ANN: The logic behind Artificial Intelligence algorithms is inspired by the neural networks of the human brain and attempts to replicate their functioning artificially.
ML: Just like the human brain, the more training opportunities the system has, the better equipped it will be to learn to perform a given action, even where it has never been programmed as one of the possible actions.
